KUALA LUMPUR: Ringgit banknotes bearing the signature of governor Datuk Muhammad Ibrahim will go into circulation in stages from tomorrow (Sept 29), beginning with the first batch of RM50 banknotes.

Bank Negara said in a statement that these banknotes were identical to the present banknotes series currently in circulation.
