SCB delivers power cables for Pan Borneo Highway project


Sarawak Cable to raise up to RM53.9mil from a private placement

KUCHING: Sarawak Cable Bhd (SCB) has completed the first of several deliveries of power cables for the Pan Borneo Highway project after it was awarded a contract last month.

The contract from Shorefield Sdn Bhd is valued at about RM20.5mil based on a provisional sum of the initial few utility packages. Shorefield is leader of a consortium taking charge of the highway project utility packages,which comprises three components – electricity,water and telecommunication.
