PETALING JAYA: Ekovest Bhd plans to make a special payout to shareholders of up to RM244mil, or 25 sen a share, if the company’s proposal to sell a stake in its highway to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) materialises.
The proposed distribution is equivalent to 10.6% of Ekovest’s share price, which closed at RM2.35 yesterday. It intends to pay the one-time dividend within six months of completing the deal.
