REVIEW: Given the tricky US markets condition the previous Friday, shares on Bursa Malaysia kicked off the week a shade below the flat line, with the FBM Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (FBM KLCI) losing 0.45 of a point to 1,697.90, extending the previous session’s losses in cautious mood.
Though certain blue chips attempted to move higher in early session, riding on the marginally stronger ringgit against the greenback, the momentum could not be sustained, as an uninspiring performance in the Asia-Pacific region, simply was not supportive of the bulls’ move.
