MRT Corp awards contracts worth RM2.73bil


The SSP Line will serve a corridor with a population of around two million people stretching from Sungai Buloh to Putrajaya.

KUALA LUMPUR: Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp) has awarded RM2.73bil worth of construction works for the MRT Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) Line. The contracts involve three viaduct packages and one station package for the public rail system.

In a statement yesterday, MRT Corp said the V205 package for the construction and completion of the viaduct guideway and other associated works from Kampung Muhibbah to Serdang Raya was awarded to Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd. The contract was worth RM858.18mil.
