Key Alliance bags RM24.7mil data centre deal

KUALA LUMPUR: Key Alliance Group Bhd (KAG) has received a conditional letter of award (LoA) from Avenue Escapade Sdn Bhd (AESB) for the design, build and management of a data centre for RM24.74mil.

The information technology company told Bursa Malaysia that its unit DVM Innovate Sdn Bhd had clinched the LoA a data centre to be located at Persoft Tower in Persiaran Tropicana, Petaling Jaya.

AESB is an investment holding company which owns majority strata units of Persoft Tower (previously Menara Luxor).

KAG said the project was expected to take 15 months to complete from the day of fulfilment of the conditions stipulated within the LoA, including building approval from the authorities and relevant financing facilities to be secured by AESB within 90 days.

A few years ago, approval was received for Persoft Tower to be developed into one of MSC Malaysia Cybercentres.
