Petronas Carigali awards contract to Sarawak govt-owned firm

KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), has awarded a key contract to Perbadanan Urusan Kejuruteraan dan Limbungan Brooke for a re-development project offshore Sarawak.

In a statement, Petronas said the contract was for the provision of front-end engineering design and engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of three wellhead platforms for the Bokor Phase III Re-development Project.

“The three wellhead platforms will be installed at the Bokor field, about 45 kilometres northwest of Lutong, Miri.

“The project is under the Baram Delta EOR production sharing contract (PSC) where PCSB is the operator and Sarawak Shell Bhd a partner,” it said.

Perbadanan Urusan Kejuruteraan dan Limbungan Brooke is wholly-owned by the Sarawak state government. - Bernama
