Improved bottom line seen for UMW-OG

PETALING JAYA: UMW Oil & Gas Corp Bhd (UMW-OG) is expected to see improvement in its bottom line and cash position in the second half of this year following its recent contract wins.

But the prospects of the loss-making, cash-negative oil and gas services provider in general will likely remain weak due to still-suppressed daily charter rates, according to some analysts.
