PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s export growth in July rebounded strongly, beating consensus estimates, after a disappointing performance in the preceding month.
Data from the Statistics Department yesterday showed that the country’s exports in July expanded 30.9% year-on-year (y-o-y), driven by external demand for electrical and electronics and petroleum products, as well as shipments of liquefied natural gas.
