Corporate bond issuance to hit five-year high

PETALING JAYA: The corporate bond market is set to hit a five-year high with total projected issuance this year at between RM90bil and RM105bil.

Some fixed income analysts and economists have upped their projections from their earlier forecasts owing to greater demand for infrastructure financing, normalisation of interest rates by central banks and the country’s better economic prospect.
