PETALING JAYA: A 41% plunge in the number of approved investments in the services sector dragged total approved investments in Malaysia, which fell 28.2% year-on-year to RM65.4bil for the first-half of the year.

The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) said the approved investments excluding the construction sector involved 2,294 projects that would create 61,930 job opportunities.
