Sapura to be held mostly by institutions after Mokhzani’s exit


SINCE the oil price rout about three years ago, Sapura Energy Bhd has seen several developments, with the latest being the exit of its second-largest shareholder Tan Sri Mokhzani Mahathir, who controls a 10.1% stake or 605 million shares in the oil and gas (O&G) company.

Yesterday, StarBiz reported that Mokhzani was relinquishing his entire stake that he held through Khasera Baru Sdn Bhd in the form of a private placement.
