Maybank Indonesia profit at RM264mil in H1 of 2018


Maybank Indonesia's business was affected by lower fee base income.

PETALING JAYA: PT Bank Maybank Indonesia Tbk (Maybank Indonesia) recorded profit after tax and minority interest (patami) of 932.7 billion rupiah (RM264mil) for the six months ended June 30, 2018, compared with 998.5 billion rupiah (RM280mil in the previous corresponding period.

The slight reduction in patami was due primarily to lower fee based income and a slight compression in net interest margin, the bank said in a statement yesterday.
