WZ Satu Q4 earnings hit by project disputes


Temporary anti-dumping measures on ethanolamine products produced in the Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United States is also being introduced.

KUALA LUMPUR: WZ Satu Bhd blamed cost overruns at two big projects and a huge impairment charge on its bauxite mining operations for the group’s dismal results in the fourth quarter.

For the three month ended Aug 31, WZ Satu posted a net loss of RM77.6mil on revenue of RM116.8mil.
