WHILE most families buy Chinese New Year decorations for their homes, the creative Loh family makes their own intricate pieces from various materials.

Driving that ingenuity is Loh Ban Thatt and his wife Elaine Teoh, who have a gift of turning everyday items and discarded materials into unique, festive works of art.
