JOHOR BARU: People are rushing to get their Chingay T-shirts bearing the five main Chinese clan associations – Hakka, Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese and Hainan – to wear during the annual Chingay procession.
Johor Baru Ancient Temple chairman and chingay organising chairman Lee Poo Sin said donning a similar T-shirt when attending or watching the procession gave a sense of of unity among spectators and participants.
