MBPP and MPSP get maiden five-star rating

THE two local councils in Penang have been given five-star rating by the Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Ministry for the first time.

State Local Government Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow, who made the announcement yesterday, congratulated both Penang Island City Council (MBPP) and Seberang Prai Municipal Council (MPSP) for achieving the rating for the first time.
