The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), after a four-month debate on who should be entrusted with turning around Harimau Malaya’s ailing fortunes, insists that Malacca-born Ong Kim Swee is set to be the saviour following his appointment as national coach.
The position of national coach has been vacant since Dollah Salleh resigned last September after that 10-0 demolition by United Arab Emirates in Abu Dhabi.
