Woman in Kuching kicks croc to escape death


A woman escaped death by fighting the crocodile which had attacked her while she was swimming in a river in Sri Aman, Kuching. The woman managed to escape from the vicious reptile by kicking it in the eyes multiple times. It was reported that she was swimming alone by the river bank before the predator struck her left leg and dragged her into the water, "She struggled for at least three minutes and the reptile finally let go of the victim and disappeared," said a villager. The woman received multiple stitches at Hospital Sri Aman.

A three-year-old girl was decapitated in a random killing outside a subway station in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan, on Monday. A 33-year-old man, who is believed to be a drug addict, reportedly grabbed the girl from behind when she was riding on a bicycle and brought out a meat cleaver which he used to decapitate the girl. The mother, who was nearby and had thought that the man intended to help push the girl up the street, tried to stop the killer but failed.
