Khir Toyo's conviction in real estate graft case upheld


PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal here has rejected an appeal filed by former Selangor Mentri Besar Dr Khir Toyo and upheld his conviction in a graft case relating to the purchase of two plots of land and a bungalow in Shah Alam.

The court also upheld the 12-month jail sentence and the forfeiture of the properties by the Government.
