Security at Ritz-Carlton tightened as visit nears


KUALA LUMPUR: The distinctive Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Bukit Bintang is set to be President Barack Obama’s “home” over the weekend.

Security in and around the prestigious premises in Jalan Imbi has been tightened, with high-ranking police officers and Fire and Rescue Department personnel in attendance yesterday. Three fire engines were seen parked beside the hotel just before noon.
