85 houses installed with TNB smart meters under pilot project

MALACCA: Consumers with smart meters installed in their homes under a Tenaga Nasional Bhd pilot project here have welcomed the initiative in support of more efficient energy consumption.

Hamali Abu Bakar, 33, from Taman Tasik Utama in Ayer Keroh, whose single-storey house was fitted with the smart meter at the end of October, said he was invited to participate in the pilot project a few months ago.
