PETALING JAYA: The group of prominent Malays has distanced itself from a statement by one of its members, Tawfik Ismail, that former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and former deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had sought the group’s support to replace the prime minister.
G25 said Tawfik’s views were his own and did not represent those of the group.
