Liow: Transport Ministry wants to end intercity rail service monopoly

KUALA LUMPUR: The Transport Ministry will introduce other train service operators so that the intercity rail transport industry will not be monopolised by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB).

Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the existence of other operators would ensure competitiveness in the industry.
