Businessman claims trial to cheating charge amounting to RM68mil


KUALA LUMPUR: A businessman has claimed trial to two charges of cheating and perjury involving an amount of RM68mil.

Former Protasco Bhd non-executive director Datuk Tey Por Yee, 40, pleaded not guilty to inducing board members of the construction and property group to agree to the US$22mil (RM68mil then) acquisition of PT Anglo Slavic Utama Indonesia, an oil-and-gas firm which he had vested interest.
