Swiss A-G: Najib not a suspect

PETALING JAYA: The Attorney-General’s Office of Switzerland (OAG) has clarified that Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is not among the individuals accused of wrongdoing in the investigation into alleged misappropriation of US$4bil (RM16.57bil) in funds involving the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).

“In the ongoing criminal proceeding of the OAG, Mr Najib Razak is not one of the public officials under accusation,” Andre Marty, a spokesman from the OAG, told the international business publication Nikkei Asian Review yesterday.
