GEORGE TOWN: The state’s tourism industry has been hit yet again with pollution of the beach. This time, it’s in Tanjung Bungah where effluent from a sewerage pipe has marred the coastline.
During a visit by The Star, a stream formed between sand banks and filled with a stagnant and foul-smelling discharge was clearly visible.
