KUALA LUMPUR: The Health Ministry has urged some 3,000 people living with HIV/AIDS to get themselves screened and treated so that they do not spread the disease to others.
Deputy Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahya said the modelling that the ministry had done together with UNAIDS and East-West Center Hawaii estimated that by the end of 2015, there were 93,000 people living with HIV in Malaysia but ministry data showed only 90,603 reported.
