PETALING JAYA: Land public transport in the Klang Valley received a huge boost with the opening of 16 new light rail transit (LRT) stations to form a seamless loop between the Kelana Jaya and Sri Petaling lines.

The LRT line extension project , otherwise known as the LEP, which took more than five years to complete at a cost of about RM7bil, allows uninterrupted LRT travel between Gombak all the way to Sentul Timur as well as Ampang.
