GEORGE TOWN: Foreign investors are said to have lost interest in Penang after several companies “closed shop” and retrenched their employees in the state, said Penang MCA liaison committee secretary Dr Tan Chuan Hong.

“Penang has lost its edge and this is due to Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng who discredits Malaysia whenever he is abroad.
