Liow: Marine Dept to help with steps to prevent repeat of catamaran tragedy

KOTA KINABALU: The Marine Department will work with state authorities in drawing up measures to prevent a recurrence of the catamaran tragedy, Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said Tuesday.  

The Transport Minister said the department, which is one of the agencies under his ministry, is helping other authorities to investigate the Lunar New Year mishap in which four people have been confirmed dead while another five remain missing.
