Eight hours on, Penang Thaipusam donations still being counted

GEORGE TOWN: Seventy people have begun counting the Thaipusam undial (donations) collected by the Penang Hindu Endowments Board (PHEB) during the three-day celebrations from Feb 8.

The counting began at 8am Friday (Feb 17) when 41 coffers containing the donations were brought out from the state Finance Department's strongroom on level 23 in Komtar to a room on level five to be counted.
