Judicial review of Maria Chin travel ban academic, says lawyer

KUALA LUMPUR: The judicial review bid by Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah (pic) should be dismissed as the travel ban imposed on her was lifted in 2016, said Senior Federal Counsel Shamsul Bolhassan.

He argued the matter is now academic as Maria was removed from the blacklist on May 17, 2016.
