PETALING JAYA: It is important for religious teachers to instil in children respect towards other religions and races because Malaysia is a multicultural and religious country, says the Sultan of Selangor.

“If they are taught since primary school in such a manner, I am confident that we will have rakyat who live in tolerance as well as in peace and harmony,” said Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
