Supervisor in forced labour case granted 90k bail

On March 24, L. Ganis was charged with trafficking 15 locals at the Kuala Kangsar magistrate court.

KUALA KANGSAR: The Sessions Court has granted RM90,000 bail to an oil palm plantation supervisor after claiming trial to trafficking 15 locals, including two underage boys, for forced labour.

L. Ganis, 43, was seen weeping when Judge Niran Tan Kran told him that he has to pay RM6,000 for each charge, surrender his passport to the court, report to the nearest police station every month and not to disturb any of the victims and their families.
