KUALA LUMPUR: A mild earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale occurred in Lahad Datu, Sabah at 6.26am Wednesday.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department said in a statement that the epicentre of the quake was 25km northeast of Kunak, Sabah.
