Guan Eng: Master plan on mainland project not ready, so tunnel study delayed

GEORGE TOWN: The undersea tunnel feasibility study is being held up by the master plan for the mainland sea reclamation work, which has not commenced although the project was awarded in 1999, Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng (pic) said.

He said the mainland reclamation project is entirely different from the one which is being carried out by E&O Bhd group on the island since last year.
