Technician pleads guilty to providing financial services to terrorists

KUALA LUMPUR: A 35-year-old technician was sentenced to seven years in jail by the High Court here for directly providing financial services for terrorist purposes.

With this sentence, Bukhori Che Noor (pic) is the first person to be jailed for directly providing services for terrorist purposes, an offence under Section 130O(1)(b) of the Penal Code.
