Student claims trial to financing terrorism

KUALA LUMPUR: A student has claimed trial in the High Court here to three counts of depositing RM300 into a technician's bank account to fund terrorist activities.

On Thursday, Hasrianto Matan, 21, was charged with depositing RM100 each into Bukhori Che Noor's bank account at a Maybank USJ branch on April 4, May 1 and June 5 last year, with the knowledge that the cash would be used partly or wholly to carry out terrorist acts.
