Court allows Perkasa chief to intervene in Zakir Naik civil case

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has allowed Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali to be a party in the civil dispute by 19 Malaysians seeking a court order that controversial Islamic preacher Dr Zakir Naik is a threat to national security.

High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Kamaludin Md. Said on Tuesday granted the application by Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali to intervene in the civil proceedings.
