IGP: Malaysian IS militant Wanndy killed in Syria

KUALA LUMPUR: Police have confirmed that Malaysian Islamic State (IS) militant Muhammad Wanndy Mohamed Jedi (pix) was killed in Syria.

"After reviewing intelligence, we can confirm that Wanndy was killed in an attack in Raqqa, Syria on April 29," Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar said via his @KBAB51 Twitter handle on Monday.
