‘He did not want to go to school, now he is gone’


JOHOR BARU: A 12-year-old boy from Kampung Cahaya Baru told his adoptive mother that he did not want to go to school any more. Two days later, he was gone forever. The boy was found hanged in his house.

His 60-year-old adoptive mother said the boy, fondly known as Apis, had refused to go to school and extra classes on Sunday night.
