Injuries on Balamurugan were caused with ‘intention to cause pain’

PUTRAJAYA: The 20 injuries on the body of S. Balamurugan, who died in police custody on Feb 8, were due to blunt force trauma and done with the "intention to cause pain", a pathologist said.

Forensic Medicine consultant Dr Siew Sheue Feng, who performed the second postmortem on Balamurugan at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, was speaking during a hearing by the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) on Wednesday.
