SEREMBAN: The Government has agreed to provide a special financial assistance of RM500 to civil servants and RM250 to government pensioners for this year’s Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak.
He said the special payment for 1.6 million civil servants and 775,000 pensioners to be given before Hari Raya was made possible due to the implementation of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
