Ex-Pujut rep sues over disqualification

KUCHING: Former Pujut assemblyman Dr Ting Tiong Choon has sued the Sarawak government and four others over his disqualification as a state elected representative.

Dr Ting filed the suit at the Kuching High Court registry on Wednesday, naming state speaker Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh, the Sarawak government and the Election Commission (EC) as defendants.
