GEORGE TOWN: The aide of a DAP state assemblyman, who is alleged to have molested a 21-year-old college student, was freed on Saturday after the court rejected his remand extension.

The 50-year-old aide, who is also a former Penang Municipal Coun­cil councillor, was arrested on Thurs­day and had been remanded for two days.
