JPJ deputy D-G fined for breaking traffic law

PUTRAJAYA: Road Transport Department (JPJ) deputy director-general of planning and operations, Datuk Yusoff Ayb (pix), was fined RM600, in default seven days' jail for driving on the emergency lane at Lingkaran Putrajaya.

Magistrate Nik Isfahanie Tasnim Ab Rahman meted out the fine on Yusoff, 58, after a special officer who appeared on his behalf  pleaded guilty to the charge on Tuesday.
