Police wipe out illegal gambling in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: The police have successfully eradicated 99 per cent of illegal gambling activities in Penang through various operations carried out earlier this year, said state police chief Datuk Chuah Ghee Lye.

Chuah said that since March, 215 raids were successfully carried out due to two special operations had been implemented to curb online gambling and gambling machines.
