Engineer detained for allegedly soliciting RM30,000 bribe

LANGKAWI: A 36-year-old engineer with a consulting firm who allegedly solicited and accepted bribes amounting to RM30,000 has been detained by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC).

He was detained on Tuesday at about 5.30pm at the Langkawi MACC branch office.
