Opposition wants Malanjum to succeed Md Raus as chief justice

KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition lawmakers from Sabah and Sarawak have proposed that Tan Sri Richard Malanjum be made the next chief justice of Malaysia as he is currently the most senior Federal Court judge.  

DAP's Kuching MP Chong Chieng Jen said all MPs from the two states would be invited to a roundtable meeting in Parliament on Wednesday to discuss the proposal.
